How to purchase

1. Registration and login

 

(1) Registration: please click “Register” at the top of the homepage to go to the registration page and then enter your e-mail address, user name, password and verification code.

Please follow the tips to complete the registration.

 

 

(2) Login: please enter your login ID and password on the login page.

 

2. Searching for items

(1) You can search for the items you want to buy by entering key words on the homepage.

(2) You can also search for the items you want to buy by finding relevant categories through the category navigation bar on the platform.

 

 

3. Adding to cart

 

(1) Click “Buy Now” on the detail page to add the item you want to buy to the cart.

 

(2) The default quantity of each item in the cart is 1 piece. If you want to buy more items, you can edit the quantity.

 

(3) You can add the items in the cart to “Favorites” or delete them.

 

 

(4) You can directly see the price, name and subject of each item in the cart.

 

(5) The items with some special offers at the bottom of the cart page are top picks recommended by the platform based on your shopping history.

Click “Add to Cart” to add your favorite items to the cart.

 

4. Payment options

Magnate offers the following payment options for shopping:

 

(1) Bank transfer (telegraphic transfer)

The payment is subject to the date on which it is actually received by the platform. Such payment will be checked manually and confirmed within 1-2 working days.

The platform receives payment in full amount (please select OUR). You may be required by the payment bank to pay a transaction fee.

After placing an order on the platform, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail from the system. Please remit the money within the time indicated by the order.

After the remittance, you will receive another e-mail from the system acknowledging that Magnate has received the money.

 

(2) Credit card/debit card/third-party payment

You can directly buy gold items up to 1,000g (included) on the platform by swiping card, with the following transaction fees charged depending on the type of card.

Provisional transaction fees of all available cards on January 31, 2020

 

 

UnionPay - 3% of the total amount of your order

VISA - 4% of the total amount of your order

MASTER - 4% of the total amount of your order

PAYPAL - 4% of the total amount of your order

Credit card/debit card/third-party payment is only available for the order of gold items up to 1,000g (included).

 

5. The platform offers the following pickup services: delivery at the store nominated by the customer, delivery by logistics and direct storage in the vault.

I. Pickup by customer


(1) To be paid: your order has been completed; please following the tips to make payment within 2 working days.

(2) Paid: your payment has been received and the next step is delivery.

(3) To be picked up: you can pick up the goods at the nominated store; you may need to wait for a relatively long time for some items.

(4) Delivery completed: the delivery of your items has been completed.

(5) Transaction succeeded: all transactions have been completed.

(6) Canceled: your order has been canceled.


 

II. Delivery by logistics

 

(1) To be paid: your order has been completed; please following the tips to make payment within 2 working days.

(2) Paid: your payment has been received and the next step is shipping.

(3) To be delivered: your items are to be shipped; you may wait for some items for a relatively long time.

(4) To be received: the shipping of your order has been completed.

(5) Transaction succeeded: all transactions have been completed.

(6) Canceled: your order has been canceled.

 

III. Storage in vault

(1) To be paid: your order has been completed; please following the tips to make payment within 2 working days.

(2) Paid: your payment has been received and the next step is shipping.

 

(3) To be stored: your items are to be stored in the vault; you may need to wait for a relatively long time for some items.

(4) Stored: your items have been stored in the vault and the warehouse receipt has been sent to your e-mail address.

(5) Transaction succeeded: all transactions have been completed.

 

(6) Canceled: your order has been canceled.

 

6. You can directly place an order on the platform to purchase gold bars of less than 1000g (included). If you want to buy gold bars of more than 1kg, please click here to contact us for personalized service.

 

FAQ:

Q: Why is there no option for payment upon delivery when I place an order?

A: At present, payment upon delivery is not acceptable to the platform. Refer to the order submission page for more details.

  

Q: May I replace or add any item after the order is submitted?

A: No item can be added or replaced after the submission of the order. Please place a new order.

 

Q: May I cancel any credit card/debit card/third-party payment order?

A: Once a number is generated for the credit card/debit card/third-party payment order, a fee of 3% of the total amount of the order will be charged for canceling this order. The cancellation can only be agreed by phone call. Any benefit arising from such cancellation shall be owned by MAGNATE, and any loss arising therefrom shall be at the sole expense of the customer.

 

 

Q: In case of payment by bank transfer, how long is the valid period of the order?

 

A: The order to be paid by bank transfer is valid within 2 working days. The order will be handled as follows based on its status.

 

 

(1) If it is paid within the valid time, Magnate will send a confirmation e-mail to you after receiving the payment.

 

 

(2) If it is paid within the valid time but the receiving is delayed (after the 3rd working day), please call the customer service personnel. You may need to place a new order with the money reserved in your account registered with us. In case of price difference, the payment of the shortage will be demanded (within 2 working days) or the overcharged amount will be returned. The customer will be required to bear the transaction fee.

 

(3) If it is not paid within the valid time (over 3 working days), Magnate has the right to cancel your order. The corresponding order cancellation and bank transaction fees will be deducted and the remaining amount will be returned to the original account.
